About
Our mission
OpenPottery is built as a straightforward online hub for free pottery resources, practical tools, and openly shared making knowledge.
Open access for makers
We believe that pottery knowledge and studio tools should be accessible to everyone. By collecting public domain texts, sharing open-source 3D designs, and building free web-based tools, we aim to lower the barrier to entry for both traditional and tech-forward ceramic artists.
Open source license
The OpenPottery website and its original tools are licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later (GPL-3.0-or-later).
This means you are free to study, modify, and share our code, provided that derivative works remain under the same open terms. See our LICENSE file for the full legal text.
